Created and curated by acclaimed violinist and composer Nokuthula Ngwenyama exclusively for ASU Kerr, Composers' Choice is the only annual Phoenix program dedicated entirely to contemporary composers. Apryl Allen - composer, author, playwright, Comanche storyteller, vocalist, songwriter, actor and musician - will be accompanied by Phoenix Boys Choir as they present a sneak peek of her expansive Comanche stage musical "ShapeShifter". The musical was arranged and scored by Ngwenyama, with melodies, music, lyrics and book by Allen. Experience inspiring performances and an enlightening look into the lives of working composers! Co-presented by PCMS, ASU Kerr and Peace Mama Productions
