Who this In Person Event is for:

Ages 4-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome but may find the event less meaningful and fulfilling.

What you’ll be doing: Every child deserves to experience the magic of the holiday season. Join Seeds of Caring as we partner with Alicia’s Closet to spread holiday cheer by wrapping presents and decorating cards that will be gifted to children living in kinship care, reunified families, and young adults who have aged out of foster care. Families will learn about different types of foster care, some ways to support foster parents, and then help wrap presents.

Optionally, if your family would like to purchase a gift for a kinship or reunifying family, an Amazon wishlist will be provided in your confirmation email. If you would like to sponsor a child or entire family, please contact Alicia’s Closet at megan@aliciascloset.org.

Specific Instructions:

All supplies will be provided. If you have any gift purchases, please bring them with you to the event.

Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:

On the next page, you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.

Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. 

We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
